About
Welcome to Kyosushi Hakozakiten, a hidden gem nestled in the vibrant Higashi Ward of Fukuoka, Japan. This sushi haven is not just another kaiten (conveyor belt) sushi restaurant; it’s an experience that elevates the act of dining into a celebration of flavors and textures. Located at 5 Chome18 1階, Fukuoka 812-0053, you can reach them at +81 92-641-5310 for inquiries.
The essence of Kyosushi Hakozakiten shines through its exceptional sushi offerings. Customers have raved about the quality of dishes, especially the Toro—the fatty belly of the tuna that melts in your mouth, leaving a lingering umami sensation. Reviews from patrons like Rebecca Kwon and Z. H. highlight the satisfying balance of flavors between fish and rice, with many recommending specialties like the tuna nigiri and various salmon sushi. It’s clear that every bite is a testament to the skillful craftsmanship behind the sushi preparation.
However, it’s important to note some aspects that patrons feel could enhance the experience. While the sushi garners praise for its taste, several reviews, including those from Tobias, mention that the conveyor belt can be sparse. This means you’ll often need to place direct orders, a minor setback in an otherwise bustling environment. With this system, you can enjoy a fresh selection tailored to your preferences, allowing a personalized dining experience.
While the service at Kyosushi Hakozakiten has drawn mixed reviews, many agree that the team is efficient and accommodating—even during closing hours. Visitors often appreciate the meal’s quick delivery, ensuring that even those arriving late are treated to a satisfying sushi feast without the rush. Notably, Z. H. mentions the friendly staff despite the time crunch, which reflects the brand's commitment to hospitality.
Finally, from a practical standpoint, the price point makes Kyosushi Hakozakiten an incredible value for quality sushi. You can savor a fulfilling meal for around 3000 yen per person, making it an affordable option for both residents and tourists alike. With easy access to car parking and proximity to the airport, it serves as a perfect stop for travelers and locals craving authentic sushi.
In conclusion, Kyosushi Hakozakiten isn't just a place to eat; it’s a culinary destination that embodies the spirit of Japanese sushi culture. Whether you're indulging in the luxurious Toro or the flavorful salmon, each dish offers a delightful taste of the ocean. Just remember to navigate the soy sauce carefully! I highly recommend a visit to experience this sushi paradise for yourself.
“ We had the lunch set menu and it came with free selection of soup. Overall quality of sushi was good, Toro was the best! :) ”
“ The waiters were not that friendly, but okish. The conveyor belt was empty all the time, so everything needs to be ordered. The sushi was really really good though! ”
“ Try all the expensive ones here. They all worth the price, and all parts of tuna are stunning (tunas are must orders) ”
“ Best kaiten sushi I've had in my month-long visit to Japan! It is affordable and the sushi tasted so good. We especially loved the recommended tuna nigiri and any salmon sushi; the fish was super tasteful and the fish/rice balance was great. You could select with or without wasabi, which I thought was very useful. The service was quick and friendly; we stumbled in quite close to closing time (we arrived around 14.20, when the last order is at 14.45, before closing at 15.00), but were helped friendly nevertheless. We had plenty of time to eat as much as we wanted, our sushi arrived quickly and fresh! The only thing that could use a change is the soy sauce: it was very difficult to dose it properly, a lot came out at once. Still, very nice restaurant, I definitely recommend! ”
“ Great sushi place close to airportbwith car park. Great price too. Around 3000 yen per person. ”
